These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Commentier application ("Service") operated by Commentier ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Commentier complies with Shopify’s terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

2. Account & Access

To use Commentier, you must install it from the Shopify App Store and grant access to your store's data. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to maintain the security of your store credentials.

3. Data Usage & Messaging

By using Commentier, you grant permission for us to collect and process customer information solely for the purpose of sending WhatsApp messages and displaying reviews. You must ensure your customers have opted in to receive such communications in compliance with GDPR or applicable privacy laws.

4. Subscription & Billing

Commentier offers both free and paid subscription plans. Fees are billed through Shopify's billing system. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Shopify Admin, and your access will continue through the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that may harm us, our users, or third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code provided by Commentier are the property of Commentier and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that customer response rates will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Commentier be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page, and your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
